Student Travel Grants

The GeMiC 2018 Executive Committee is pleased to announce travel grants, in the amount of 800 EUR for students who have registered and co-authored an accepted paper. The number of travel grants is limited, therefore the funding is awarded on a competition basis. We are especially looking forward to applications from students from eastern-Europe.


Conditions for receiving travel support are as follows:

  • - The applicant must be author or co-author of an accepted paper in the GeMiC 2018 conference.
  • - The applicant must be a full-time student registered toward a Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting their applications.

A student who is awarded a student travel grant must register, attend, and present the paper at the conference.

The application must include

  • - Short CV
  • - Certificate of enrollment (Bachelor, Master, doctoral student, Ph.D.)
  • - Motivation letter (one page)
